At Rickety Software, we believe that your morning news shouldn't come at the cost of your privacy. We have designed The Daily Dispatch to be as unobtrusive as possible.

1. Data Collection

We do not collect, store, or sell any personally identifiable information. You are not required to create an account or provide an email address to use the app.

2. How We Handle Information

Reading Habits: Any stories you "bookmark" or read are stored locally on your own device using Apple's secure storage. We have no way of seeing what you are reading.
Location: The app does not track your location.
Analytics: We use minimal, anonymous telemetry to ensure the app isn't crashing, but this contains no data that could identify you.

3. Subscriptions & Payments

All financial transactions are handled securely by Apple via the App Store. Rickety Software never sees your credit card details or billing address. We simply receive an anonymous "token" from Apple confirming that your subscription is active.

4. Third-Party Links

The app provides links to original news sources (such as the BBC or Reuters). Once you leave our app to read a full story on their websites, their own privacy policies will apply.
